UNITE (referred to as "UNITE", "we", "us", "our" and other similar pronouns) knows that your privacy is important to you, and we want you to know that it is important to us too. UNITE is the controller and is responsible for your personal information that is referred to in this privacy policy (this “Policy”).

We created this Policy to explain the types of information we collect through our websites on which it is posted (“Sites”), mobile applications on which it is posted (“Apps”), and the various social media platforms and live streaming and video conferencing platforms, including Zoom, that we use (collectively with the Sites and Apps, the “Services”), how we will use, disclose and protect this information once it is collected, and how you can opt-out of some of our uses and disclosures of your information. 1. What personal information do WE Collect?

6. How will WE PROTECT YOUR personal information?

We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards designed to protect your Personal Information, prevent unlawful or unauthorized processing of Personal Information, and prevent unauthorized disclosure of, or accidental loss of, or damage to, such information.

We may transfer Personal Information we collect about you to countries that may not guarantee the same level of protection for Personal Information as the one in which you reside. If you are located in the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, to the extent that Personal Information is transferred across borders to other third parties (as otherwise set out in this Policy), it will only be carried out when certain conditions as set out in the applicable legislation are complied with.

Unfortunately, while we endeavor to protect the security and integrity of sensitive Personal Information collected via the Services, due to the inherent nature of the internet as an open global communications vehicle, we cannot guarantee that any information, during transmission through the internet or while stored on our system or otherwise in our care, will be absolutely safe from intrusion by others, such as hackers.

If you correspond with us by email or using web forms like a “contact us” feature on the Services, you should be aware that your transmission might not be secure. A third party could view the information you send in transit by such means. We will have no liability for disclosure of your information due to errors or unauthorized acts of third parties during or after transmission.

If at any time during or after our relationship we believe that the security of your Personal Information in our care may have been compromised, we may seek to notify you of that development. If a notification is appropriate, we will endeavor to notify you as promptly as possible under the circumstances. If we have your email address, we may notify you by email to the most recent email address you have provided us. If you receive a notice from us, you can print it to retain a copy of it. To receive these notices, you must check your email account using your computer or mobile device and email application software. If you prefer for us to use the U.S. Postal Service to notify you in this situation, please email us at support@unite.us. You can make this election any time, and it will apply to notifications we make after a reasonable time thereafter for us to process your request. 7. What rights do YOU HAVE in relation to YOUR personal information?

You may have the right to consent to or to opt out of certain uses and disclosures of your Personal Information. For example, when you are asked to provide Personal Information on the Services, you may have the opportunity to elect to, or not to, receive messages from us by email. You may tell us that you do not want to receive our newsletter or promotional messages, by sending us your name and email address to: support@unite.us. Please indicate that you are writing to request that you no longer receive a particular media notification from us. You can also opt out of our promotional emails by clicking on the opt-out link within the email you receive.

Please understand that it may take us a few days to process any opt-out request and that even if you opt out of receiving promotional correspondence from us, we may still contact you in connection with your relationship, activities, transactions and communications with us. Also, to stop receiving promotional messages from third parties who already have your contact information, please contact them directly.

We may change this Policy from time to time.
